Dear Friends,
Another year has flown by for us enots. It has been a fun year filled with many firsts. I guess you have a lot of firsts with your first child. Abianne has gone from having her first real food on Jan 1st to now where she runs around the house talking up a storm. Most of what she says we don’t understand yet, but she is working on teaching us this language of babies. They say once you know a language it is supposed to come back easily, but so far it hasn’t come back to us at all.
We were able to travel a little bit this year. We went to Flint Michigan for a business trip and family conference, to Omaha this spring, to Oregon for a vacation this summer, and to a wedding in St. Louis.
Nathan is still working for IBLP in their computer department and is enjoying the work as well as the people. He was able to play on our church’s softball team this summer and thoroughly enjoyed it. The last time he played organized softball was in the 3rd grade so it had been awhile. They didn’t do too bad either, first place with a record of 19-1. Nathan is quick to point out that it wasn’t because of him.
Christy is enjoying being a mother and is looking forward to number two, who should be arriving any day now. Abianne and Nathan keep her busy, but she still finds time to sell baby clothes and other items on eBay. Her most recent business venture has been making little girls hair bows and selling them at craft shows this fall.
Abianne’s favorite things to do are eating crackers, going bye bye, going night night (mostly because then she gets to visit with Mr. Pacifier), digging through the paper recycling bin and finding interesting things in the trash. (Don’t worry, the kitchen and bathroom trash cans are off limits.)
This year most of our immediate family has been able to come visit us at some point and in fact all of them, except for one, are coming here for Christmas this year. We are looking forward to that.
You can keep up to date on our family by visiting our web site where we post monthly updates, pictures and other information on a regular basis. Our address is: www.enots.com
We praise God for His blessing on this past year, which have been so evident. What a privilege to serve the King of Kings! May God bless you and draw you to Himself in this coming year.
With Love,
Nathan, Christy and Abianne Stone
