Dear Family and Friends,
God has blessed us which such dear family and friends! He has blessed us in many other ways this year as well. As we wrote this letter last year we were eagerly awaiting the arrive of our second child. On December 21st Aubrie Nicole graced us with her presence. As we go into the Christmas season this year we just found out that we will be expecting our third in August of next year. Yes the enots are growing by leaps and bounds in more ways than one.
Abianne is now two + 1/2 and tons of fun. She loves playing with (and bossing) Aubrie. She has so much energy, she will be a lot of help as the first born! She talks all the time and almost daily Mommy has a story to tell Daddy when he gets home of something funny she has said. When we had our first snowstorm this year she looked outside and exclaimed “It’s raining white!”.
Aubrie just started to walk and can make it about half way across the room. Good thing they have diapers for padding at this stage. She can say about 6 words but most of the time just squeals. She is very laid back and has the cutest giggle, especially when you tickle her around the neck as her daddy loves to do.
Christy continues to spend her days at home being entertained by Abianne and Aubrie and sells on eBay while they are napping. She also was able to decorate three wedding cakes this year and a few other cakes for showers and birthdays. Nathan is still working at the Institute in Basic Life Principles in their computer department and is enjoying every minute of it.
We still have a lot of single friends which means we got to travel to a number of weddings including Oregon, Tulsa, Oklahoma City and a few local. Then there was Flint, and Tulsa for business and Wisconsin to visit with family. Christy’s Grandma passed away this month so we just returned from a trip to California for the funeral and Arizona to see Nathan’s Grandparents. We are headed to Oregon for Christmas. Makes us tired just making this list!
Christy’s mom and sisters moved to the area in April. In fact, Mom now cooks Nathan a nice hot lunch everyday at work. Of course, she also cooks food for the rest of the staff. Yes, there are advantages to having an in with the head cook. It has been a huge blessing to have them close, not the least of which is very willing babysitters!
Mom and Ellen Stone were able to come out and visit in July and the Talbott’s came through a few times. We always have a great time when family stops in and enjoy it immensely.
Just a reminder that you can keep up to date on our family by visiting our web site where we post monthly updates, pictures and other information on a regular basis. Our address is: www.enots.com
It just wouldn’t be appropriate to end a Christmas letter without giving thanks to the one who is the reason for the season, Jesus Christ. We trust that as you go through this next year that you will continue to grow closer to our beloved Savior.
Love,
Nathan, Christy, Abianne and Aubrie Stone
