Merry Christmas! We trust that this letter finds you well.
One of our biggest news items is another baby coming next April. Also, Christy's sister Katie is getting married to Jared Yates on January 20th. Who knows, if our baby is a boy the Stearn's will have two male additions in one year. That would sure be a record!
A highlight of the year was a family trip to Oregon in July. Nathan's sister Katie Talbott and her family were there during the same time. It was a wonderful two weeks with all of the Stone family being together. We went camping for a week which we all enjoyed immensely.
We also celebrated our fifth wedding anniversary by leaving the kids with Grandma and “the Aunts” for five days and flying down to Destin Florida to spend some time together and to visit with a few friends.
A little update on each of us -
Abianne – I am 4 now and am pretty sure that I am a real live princess. I love coloring pictures and working on crafts, though when I make things I like to have someone in mind to give them to. I was so excited to be the flower girl in Matt Holt and Mary Kay Del Mul's wedding and almost every day I talk about when Aubrie and I will be the flower girls in Aunt Katie's wedding. In my own words “I love Mary Kay, I love Katie too. I love anyone who makes me their flower girl!”
Aubrie – I will be 3 in just a few days. I don't really want to turn 3, I would rather stay 2 ˝ so that I can keep my pacifiers at night. I guess giving them up may be worth it since when I am 3 I will get to go to all of the “big girl classes” at church with Abianne instead of spending time in the nursery. I have been learning that God made me and while praying the other night I said “ Thank you God for making me pretty...”
Emilie – I am 17 months now and am very petite. I am still wearing 6-12 month clothes. To make up for this I have learned how to climb on tables, desks, chairs, you name it, so I can get into things. My sisters hear me say all kinds of complicated sentences and words. How come my parent's can only understand a couple of them?
Christy – I had an tubal pregnancy in May that ruptured one of my fallopian tubes. I spent a few hours in the ER, than the operating room, than had a stay in the hospital for a few days. This was five days after the girls and I were in a car accident so at first the doctors were trying to determine if the pain was related to that. Praise the Lord for the doctors and technicians he put around us.
Nathan - Well I am a year older and have learned a little bit more about raising daughters. I had the privilege of being a best man in my good friend (and boss) Matt Holt's wedding.
That sums up most of our year, we are sure you will be waiting on pins and needles to hear what takes place in the enots' lives in 2007. We can only imagine!
With Love,
Nathan, Christy, Abianne, Aubrie and Emilie
