A lot has happened in the last few months. Here are some of the highlights.
Christmas
For Christmas Christy's Mom and Sister came down from WA and her other Sister and Brother in Law flew out from Florida. Christmas day we went to Brownsville to Nathan's parents and had a great time with both sides of the family being together. It's so nice have an extended family where everyone not only gets along, but enjoys each other. The McCauls were also there helping celebrate!
Beth Moved to WA
Christy's sister Beth had been living with us for almost a year and moved to WA to live with her mom and sister.
David was born
February 4th our first son was born. You can read the birth announcement here
Talbott's Visit
Nathan's sister and family came for a visit for the whole month of March. Everyone had a lot of fun and we were introduced to the awesome game of Settlers of Catan
Sickness ravaged the family for two weeks, okay ravaged is a bit strong, but between the Stones, Talbotts and enots one person was always sick.
Couponing
Christy has gotten in to couponing, here is a video that describes it. Though Christy's response to this clip was that the lady was paying too much, but it will give you an idea of how it works. Boiled down it is matching coupons to sales and promotions. Kind of cool when the receipt says at the bottom "You saved 97% today" Particularly when the original total was over $100. And yes it is stuff you use and is mostly brand names.
