About the Enots...

Nathan

Born in the mid seventies I grew up in a rural area of Oregon, where the countryside is absolutely gorgeous. I was home schooled since the second grade and was privileged to spend much time with my parents and grandparents while growing up.

At the age of 8 I accepted Jesus Christ as my savior during a Sunday night service at our church. When I was 11 we moved to five acres in the country and within walking distance of my grandparents. A few years later I started working for a lady that owned a Llama ranch in the area. When I was 16 I started working for a grass seed farmer who also owned a clean seed warehouse (we cleaned other farmers seed). I did this usually from May-October for the next three years.

After High school I interned for nine months at our local church and then was invited to come serve for six months at The Institute in Basic Life Principles. Those six months have turned in to a number of years. After starting in the warehouse and then working in their Graphic Arts department I moved to their IT departments.

I currently work for Ambient, Inc an IT consulting company based in Eugene Oregon.

Christy

I was born one week before Nathan was, the very same year, and raised in the great state of Nebraska. Go Huskers! I was so blessed to be raised in a Christian home by loving parents. I accepted Christ when I was almost 3 years old and was reassured of my Salvation when I was 6.

I was home schooled from grade three on. I am so grateful for the time and love my parents gave to me by teaching me at home. I know that it has shaped who I am and that I will reap the benefits for the rest or my life.

After high school I was able to participate in many ministry opportunities including being a summer missionary for Child Evangelism Fellowship for 3 summers, working at the Headquarters of the The Institute in Basic Life Principles for about 2 and 1/2 years total at two different times and serving in Moscow, Russia for 4 months.

The Lord has used so many things in my life to teach me and shape my character. My dad went to be with the Lord in 1998, 9 months after he had been diagnosed with cancer. I learned so much caring for my Grandma during her 14 year stay with us while she had Alzheimers. God showed his miraculous power by healing my sister Katie after she was in a terrible car accident with a Semi truck and in a coma and rehabilitation.

It was at IBLP that I met my husband Nathan. Our marriage has been nothing but joy and the joy was added to when our children started coming along. The rest is yet to come...

Extended Family

It's kind of amazing, but we (Nathan and Christy) both have sisters named Katie, now that I think about it, we also both have a mom and a dad. Wow, we have quite a bit in common I guess...
