Welcome David Fredrick!
This morning (2/4) at 3:03am pst our fifth child and first son, David Fredrick Stone, was born.
He arrived 2 days before the official due date which threw us off a little because none of the other have come early, but in fact normally come a week or so late.
Stats:
- 8lbs 11oz
- 21.5 long
- Lots of dark hair, hasn't really opened his eyes much for us to take a look.
- Born at home with a customary labor of about five hours.
People choose names for a lot of different reasons, some the meaning is important (though I tend to think you can make a name mean just about anything if you want) for others it is chosen strictly on how it sounds, and others are named after a family member or friend. Why did we chose David Fredrick? Two very special reasons and in both instances it is out of honor of another. David is my Dad and Fred is my my Grandfather. Both of these men have had a huge influence and impact in my life. If little David Fredrick lives up to the lives of these two men he will be a great man indeed.
